Happy Anniversary to us!! The juxtaposition of the historic downstairs and the modern rooms creates a striking feel to this hotel. It is simply lovely and walking distance to many different sorts of restaurants and "things to do." Sunset on the rooftop bar, Moonshine, and room service from The Yard were both fantastic. We plan to try Moonshine's pizza tonight. It's probably phenomenal. Valet parking is also available which is also convenient, but there is also paid parking nearby. Highly recommend to get a fantastic Birmingham experience.

We had a great stay at our hotel in Alabama. Tara truly made the experience exceptional—she was incredibly kind, accommodating, and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. She allowed us to check in early and check out late, which made a huge difference, and she also gave us great recommendations for food and drinks in the area. Her attention to detail and genuine hospitality really made our stay better. Excellent service all around thanks to Tara. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is a great location! Within walking distance to a lot of amazing restaurants and bars. Our stay was perfect the room was beautiful and clean and Latara our front desk lady was so sweet and helpful! And so was everyone there including housekeeping. The valet people are also so great they are very fast and help out with your bags and everything. Will definitely come back to this hotel when we are back in town! My only critique is the bar upstairs the Moonshine the prices are honestly insane almost 30$ for shots that aren’t even premium liquor and same with drinks not even craft cocktails or anything special just way over priced compared to a lot of other bars in the area. But genuinely a great hotel to stay at just get drinks elsewhere.

This is a lovely hotel, in a great location in the heart of downtown Birmingham. A number of restaurants within walking distance. Our room was clean and comfortable. Staff did not tell us when we checked in that the wifi wasn't working. When we came back down to ask about it, they gave us the log in for an alternative wifi. Otherwise service was fine. Tip: 1st Avenue seems to be used for drag racing at all hours--a lot of vehicles with no muffler sped by. Ask for a room facing a different location.

Our stay at the Elyton Hotel, Autograph Collection was a truly unique and memorable experience. From the moment we walked in, we loved the eclectic art-forward design and the overall vibe of the property. It has a character and personality that you don’t find in typical hotels absolutely one of a kind! A special shoutout goes to Mykael at the front desk. He was incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming, taking the time to share the history of the building (including its past as a bank) and offering thoughtful insight into the hotel’s design and decor. He also provided excellent recommendations for places to visit around Birmingham, which really enhanced our stay. The staff overall was attentive and friendly, and the attention to detail throughout the hotel stood out. We especially appreciated the daily room service, which is becoming rare in many hotels today, as well as the thoughtful amenities provided. The room was spacious, and the shower in particular was excellent large, modern, and very comfortable. Everything felt clean, well-maintained, and designed with guest comfort in mind. Overall, this hotel delivers a boutique, artistic experience that feels distinct from standard accommodations. If you're visiting Birmingham and want something memorable, I highly recommend staying at the Elyton Hotel for its atmosphere, service, and unique charm.

Our stay at the Elyton Hotel was fantastic! The customer service was amazing — Khadijah was incredibly kind, attentive, and so informative, making our visit seamless and enjoyable. The room had a great view; you could hear cars, but honestly, it added to the city experience. The bed was very comfortable. While there were no microwaves in the room or for guest use, the location more than made up for it — literally everything was within walking distance, and taking an Uber to other spots was always under $10. We had such a great stay and can’t wait to return!
